[Minato answers the door pretty quickly, at least; he's spent most of his day seeking out the others, but after talking to a few people, he knew he has to take a breather.
He wasn't expecting someone else to come seek him out...but when he sees Roxas, he nods.]
Of course. Come in.
[A beat.]
Sorry... I don't have anything to offer in terms of tea or anything.
[His room is perfectly ordinary sans a Koromaru plushie, after all.]
[ Roxas might've expected a more pessimistic response, but then again... he wasn't a very optimistic person in general. ]
You're right. Even if someone died, I don't think I could really ... I don't know, think that sort of thing is right. Just executing someone.
[ He doesn't even know how a proper justice system works, and yet he thinks this. ]
I think if I see The Lady appear tomorrow I'll try to take her down. If she's not, then...well, they can't just kill everyone just because no one's listening, and not following along with what they want.
[ A lot's happened in this week, and so many people suffered for it. But, when the execution made it's culmination, the blond stalked right out, before deciding to track down Minato after awhile.
He eventually makes it to the other's door, waiting for a moment before his hand raps firmly but gently against the door. ]
[Minato responds after a brief moment, opening the door to let Roxas in. The execution was gruesome, and honestly the smell alone made him want to vomit--but he's stoic nonetheless, meeting Roxas' eyes with a quiet expression.]
Did you want to talk, or just the company?
[Either is entirely valid at this point in time, he thinks.]
[ Roxas is getting used to talking to people again, but ... at the same time, it's not just entirely for his own benefit. Or, he'd hope so at least - mutual company can help both of them, right? ]
After seeing someone just die like that, or kind of just hearing it. [ ... ] I couldn't really watch.
[ He almost winces. He knows the others were watching and it seemed to be out of some kind of solidarity, maybe? But he just couldn't. ]
[ After that reign of unfortunate circumstances, Roxas found himself feeling kind of numb as he headed back to his room. It was a toss up of whether it was better or not for him to feel this way instead of just slapped in the face with depression.
In a way... it made his mind less cloudy, but that just probably meant when the feeling faded away, he was going to feel like shit to put it simply.
Though, he's not going to be seeking out a lot of people, hearing the sound of his door being knocked on caught his attention. Enough for him to open it after getting right to his feet. ]
[Seeking out other people and making sure they're okay is how Minato copes. Otherwise? He'll be too focused on what he saw, on what happened, on how these people are gone--
No, he can't. Not right now.
So... quietly, he goes to check on people. He shows up at Roxas' door, and when Roxas opens it... he offers a softly concerned expression.]
[ There's an awkward pause, but then he'll step to the side for Minato to enter right in. It's been an awful night for sure. However, Roxas wasn't about to really object to any company - maybe he could just feel that it wasn't him who might've needed it.
After all of that...all of them might. ]
I think ... doing okay, as in I'm okay as I can be.
[ He'll mutter and then wait for Minato to enter it because once he does, he'll close the door behind him. ]
It's hard to say that it's really a decent "okay", but...I don't know if anyone can be anything like that right now.
Roxas manages to come by Minato's at some time during the day, giving the door a soft knocking when he arrives, with the treats already on hand, and also held behind his back with just one hand. ]
[ Thank goodness - when Minato looks much better today, Roxas is smiling to himself a little now that he's seen him like this. ]
Yeah, I am! What about you? I know... a lot happened over the weekend, so if you're not exactly prepared, I'll understand.
[ Roxas wouldn't be surprised if Minato had forgotten all about it, actually. But hey, the chef was still around they could still make takoyaki and stuff happen, right? ]
Week 1 - Friday evening
There's a rap against Minato's door later in the evening. Whoever it is reveals themselves quickly, however. ]
...Can we talk for a moment?

[ Not from here, after all of that.
Roxas enters and closes the door behind himself. ]
...You heard all of that, right? Do you think there's anything we can really do about it?
[ If not, then...Roxas had an idea of sorts. It wasn't a good one, but it was an idea. ]
no subject
[Minato frowns a little, shoulders tense.]
And... there's definitely something we have to do about it. We can't just go along with this and send someone else to be..."executed".

[It's said softly, but there's concern in his tone and expression.]
It's not that I don't understand where you're coming from...but that could be so dangerous to you.
[He can't help but think of Akira, and the ashen look on his face when he'd gotten out of those vents.]
You can't get yourself hurt to try to save all of us.
no subject
[ Roxas ]
I'm not -
[ He then makes a face. Okay, yeah, that is in fact what it is. Even so he felt he had to do something...he hated feeling so powerless. ]
- What would even be a better idea?

[Minato shakes his head firmly, expression serious.]
And you don't have to watch if you don't feel like you can. That's not... it's not a requirement, okay?
[Nobody could ever ask that of anyone.]
You can honor their memory in other ways.
no subject
Yeah, you're right.
[ In a way they were also around...but also very dead. But, his expressions looks a little thankful Minato said that at least. ]
no subject
I know this situation is overwhelming, but...
[A slow breath in.]
I believe we'll make it through.

[So much bad happening, so awfully...]
Is there anything I can do for you?
no subject
[ He'd be just good enough with someone he can speak to, really. ]

Tell me more about yourself, Roxas-san. What sorts of things do you like?

week 4, tuesday food sharing fun times!!
Roxas manages to come by Minato's at some time during the day, giving the door a soft knocking when he arrives, with the treats already on hand, and also held behind his back with just one hand. ]
Minato, are you in?
no subject
When he sees Roxas, he smiles, too.]
Hey, Roxas-san.
[A beat, and he blinks, the memory slowly sinking in (it feels like ages ago after everything--)]
Oh, are you ready to do our food exchange?
no subject
[ Thank goodness - when Minato looks much better today, Roxas is smiling to himself a little now that he's seen him like this. ]
Yeah, I am! What about you? I know... a lot happened over the weekend, so if you're not exactly prepared, I'll understand.
[ Roxas wouldn't be surprised if Minato had forgotten all about it, actually. But hey, the chef was still around they could still make takoyaki and stuff happen, right? ]

[A beat.]
Er... I mean, I'm not exactly prepared because I don't have any takoyaki on me, but I am very ready to go get some and also try sea salt ice cream.
Does that work?
no subject
Hmm, I don't know...it might be too difficult. Let me think about it.
[ Then Roxas sports a smile of sorts, producing a set of sea-salt ice cream from behind his back. ]
Just kidding! Here, take one.
no subject
Oh... thanks.
[He accepts it, though he looks a little rueful at the teasing.]
You were so prepared, and I'm not prepared at all... but I guess it can't hurt to enjoy this together first, right?
