I think the easiest way to describe it is...someone who doesn't exist in the world of light and dark, but in-between? Just pretend people who exist in the realm of light are just your average people and those who exist in dark are people from darkness.

People from darkness are like...just imagine people who are naturally affiliated with the dark element - people or creatures of the night.
I'm just someone who'd be in between light and dark - something that's neither of the two.

But you're right in front of me, right? That's like saying a rainbow doesn't exist because you can't touch it. Even if it's just light refracting a certain way for your eyes to pick up, it's still something that can be acknowledged!
